BOOKKEEPER for ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE
A thriving and well established Accountancy Practice is looking for a mid experienced BOOKKEEPER. Excellent location in Central London
The principal function of the Bookkeeper is to manage client's bookkeeping requirements. You should have at least 1-2 years experince and comming from a simmilar Practice Enviroment.
The Bookkeeper will report to the Partners of the Practice.
The person concerned will also be expected to understand that he or she is part of a team and may be required to help out with internal bookkeeping and financial control functions as and when required.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Sales, purchases and nominal ledger management Inter-Company transactions /recharges / reconciliation
- Petty cash and expenses management
- Reconciling Bank and credit card statements
Dealing with currency / international payments Vat returns and claims
- Producing financial reports and management information
- Liaise with Auditors regarding year end statutory accounts
It is expected that the Bookkeeper will have the following:
Good knowledge of Sage Line 50
Solid working knowledge of debits and credits in an accounting framework
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills and a professional manner Good organisational skills
Self-confidence (in particular when dealing with clients by telephone or in person).
Competence in basic computer programmes, in particular Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
At least 1-2 years experience as a bookkeeper
