Nursery Manager - Eltham

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our Clients - a fairly new, 43 place Nursery. The setting has been run by the owner since inception but now more established, they now require a Manager as the next step. Due to the infancy of the setting, there is great opportunity to implement your own ideas and be part of something great from the start.

The setting is bright, modern with very friendly staff. They pride themselves on having a homely feel and a great all round ethos. They are passionate, dynamic, energetic and are looking for a Manager to have the same qualities. You will help them work towards achieving an 'Outstanding' Ofsted status.

Main Duties;

· Dealing with all parent enquiries

· Delivering training

· Supporting the team to become reflective practitioners

· Managing and working in accordance with budgets

· Keeping resources in good supply

· Maintaining healthy occupancy and market the nursery

· Authorising annual leave

· Ensuring the implementation of healthy balanced menus

· Role model best practice in the rooms

· Ensure the implementation of short term, medium term and long term planning for all children on an individual basis in accordance with the EYFS.

· Ensure team are making regular observations and developmental records are kept updated so that children’s progress can be monitored and assessed

· Developing professional relationships with parents and carers, ensuring close communication; supporting other team members to do the same

· Encouraging the participation and involvement of parents and carers in the nursery.

-Provide two satisfactory references

-Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo a check
