Talent Development Specialist - Learning / Training

We are seeking three experienced Talent Development Specialists / Learning & Development Specialists to join a leading international law firm. Relocating to Hong Kong, Cayman Islands or the British Virgin Islands, expect to own the creation of tailored professional development opportunities for staff.

With 12 offices and more than 500 staff, this award-winning global firm works with an international client base which includes the world's top law firms, financial institutions, investment funds and private individuals. Due to continued success they are now seeking three Talent Development Specialists / Learning & Development Specialists to play a vital role in addressing gaps in staff understanding.

Joining as the Talent Development Specialist / Learning & Development Specialist you will be responsible for creating, facilitating and managing professional development opportunities for staff. Whether you are coaching employees; leveraging technology to develop learning materials; conducting organisation wide training and development analysis or creating tailor-made learning modules and techniques, it will be your ability to meet the needs of different learning styles (classroom, one-on-one, online courses, webinars, e-learning) that enables employees to meet their potential.

To qualify. You should be a Talent Development Specialist / Learning and Development Manager / Training & Development Specialist / L&D Manager / Learning and Development Advisor / L&D consultant or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Talent Development / Learning experience or similar;
  • A strong understanding of the different learning delivery methods and how to best tie to the learning need and individual (classroom, one-on-one, online courses, webinars, e-learning);
  • Experience leveraging technology to develop learning materials;
  • Experience with Viewpoint systems or with other SQL based business systems;
  • Experience working effectively within a large, global organisation;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent relationship management, influencing and persuasion skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail with administrative tasks;
  • A background in job training programs or public speaking preferred.
