Finance Analyst, Slough

Our client, a leading multinational organisation in their chosen sector are looking to recruit a part qualified finance analyst to join their finance team. By offering their expertise, candidates will be able to contribute to key areas within the business by offering recommendations based on analysis.

Main responsibilities include:

*Partnering an array of internal departments whilst supporting, reporting and analysing pricing, promotions, and revenue driving initiatives
*Owning and supporting the business planning process including annual operating plans and forecasts
*Assessing results vs forecasted projections ensuring commercial and financial decisions are viable
*Supporting the month-end accounting process, with focus on revenue, cost of goods and marketing
*Ad-hoc duties; including improving the reporting process and supporting new initiatives

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated commercial and analytical acumen, and a proven ability to present data in a visually impactful way. Candidates must also have advanced level Excel expertise, whilst Hyperion and Oracle experience will also be favourable. Previous experience in the retail or consumer products environment would be desirable. Ultimately candidates need to be great communicators, with the ability to challenge questions positively and constructively. A perfect blend of these requirements would put candidates in great stead.
