Catering Equipment Engineer / Kitchen Maintenance Operator (COMCAT)
A Catering Equipment Engineer / Kitchen Maintenance Operator (COMCAT) is needed to join a private members' club based in beautiful surroundings in SW6. Expect to play a key role carrying out routine daily, weekly and monthly checks on all appliances within the Club's three kitchens.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Catering Equipment Engineer / Kitchen Maintenance Operator (COMCAT) will oversee and coordinate the overall maintenance needs and requirements of the Club's three kitchens. Whether you are ensuring that kitchen equipment is regularly tested; investigating and fixing Kitchen appliance faults; assessing whether maintenance work is to be completed in-house or by a contractor; informing relevant Club Executives and Kitchen Management of timescales and problems to ongoing repair work; complying with health and safety or supporting other general maintenance work, you will play a vital role ensuring the highest level of service to all staff, members and their guests.
You will be expected to take part in the On Call Weekend Rota.
To qualify... You should be a Catering Equipment Engineer / Kitchen Maintenance Operator (COMCAT) / Kitchen Technician & Maintenance Operator / Maintenance Operator / Maintenance Manager / Caretaker / Maintenance Operative / Property Maintenance Engineer / Building Services Operator or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- Experience in a similar maintenance role within a similar environment;
- The following qualifications: CCCN1, COMCAT Levels 1, 2, 3 are essential, and preferably 5, as required by the majority of Club appliances;
- Experience of general maintenance;
- A highly organised and tidy person;
- Good attention to detail and high personal standards.
Pool Plant training and experience is desirable, but not essential.
