IT Support Engineer - Chorley
We are recruiting for a unique opportunity to work for an IT support business supporting mainly SME's across the North West.
This is a business that is Engineer / technically led and not sales focussed like so many other similar businesses. The company has an excellent reputation for the quality of their service and as a result has grown year on year to the size it is now with circa 15 employees with most in different levels of support capacity.
This is a role suited to an experienced professional who will likely have various Microsoft acceditations. Ideally MCSE, MCSA, MCPD, MCA or MCSM.
You must be from a customer facing background with detailed knowledge of IT Systems within a windows environment.
Customer service is the #1 focus and the following skills describe the role
Windows Server 2008r2/2012/2012r2/2016
Office 365, Exchange online
Firewalls, VPN, Draytek, Cisco, Watchguard, Security of networks and infrastructure
Microsoft software platforms, Office, etc
Traveling essential for this job role
The client work with around 150 customers in the northwest, remote and on-site work, covering all areas of hardware and software support
