This person is someone who is passionate about performance display, Real Time Bidding (RTB) and the evolving technology landscape in programmatic space. This is a full-time job opportunity requiring 1-2 years' experience. Salary: £25k. 

Overview of the role

As a Performance Planner, you will sit in within the digital department and support the team on delivering campaigns for a variety of UK clients, across sectors from an enviable client portfolio.

You will be joining a growing team in a large media agency and you will be provided with all the tools required to perform your role. This ranges from planning frameworks, the agencies trading desk, data science experts as well as experts in relationship building - both client and vendor side.

What the job entails
  • Supporting the Manager and Account Director on delivering performance display campaigns for their clients.
  • Assist the Manager in planning, forecasting and optimisation requirements across a range of campaigns.
  • Assist the Manager and Account Director in formulating performance strategies, media plans and roadmaps for delivery.
  • Supply well thought out plans for their Ad Operations team that deliver tagging and creative solutions.
  • Provide frequent progress/contact reports regarding performance efforts and key metrics to clients and/or internal teams.
  • Integrating thinking and relationships with the wider media specialist and planning teams in the agency.
  • Contributing knowledge sharing for the wider Performance Team with regular contributions to best practices and industry developments.

What they are looking for
  • Proven experience of working on RTB campaigns that have delivered tangible results.
  • 1-2 years' experience in an in-house or agency role.
  • Analytical skills including a comfort working with a number of core analytics packages and Excel.
  • Solid understanding of the mechanics of RTB - including demand, supply side and ad exchanges.
  • Good understanding of bidding strategies, tagging recommendations and creative optimisation.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, who's able to hit deadlines.
  • Confident working with other teams, clients and media owners.
  • Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
