Homeless Prevention Case Manager
My client is seeking a candidate that can carry out full Part 7 risk assessments. A comfortable case load size and good working conditions to be able to carry out all aspects of a Homeless Prevention Case Manager 's role. Strong knowledge of Housing and Homelessness acts, including Section 184. The client understands how the pressures of the position and is keen to support all team members.
The team are looking for an experienced candidate that can add quality amongst knowledgeable peers. The Homeless Prevention Case Manager will be supported into a case load by the team manager helping with any policies and procedures that they may not be familiar too. Leading your own cases with the freedom to assess and deal with your work as best works for you. The team are looking for a candidate that can quickly adapt to their way of working and hit the ground running
- Strong knowledge of Housing and Homelessness acts, including Section 184
- Previous experience within a Local Authority
- Experienced with handling individuals who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, from beginning to end
- Undertaking peer reviews of decisions
- Providing appropriate advice on housing issues
