Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Company Overview:
Our client Tricoya Ventures UK (TVUK) Ltd is a joint venture between Tricoya Technologies Ltd, Medite Europe DAC and BP Chemicals. The company is building and operating the first Tricoya® production plant at their Hull, Saltend site. Tricoya® Wood Elements are produced using Accsys Group’s proprietary technology for the acetylation of wood chips, and particles for use in the fabrication of panel products such as medium density fibreboard and particle-board. These products demonstrate enhanced durability and dimensional stability which allow them to be used in a variety of applications that were once limited to tropical hardwood or man-made products.

The TVUK plant will operate with a team of around 30 people for the first line and there is the potential to extend in the future.

This is a full time role based on the Saltend Site in Hull and candidates must be capable of arriving on site quickly if required. The role may also require some travel to the Accsys Group Accoya® Plant in Arnhem, Netherlands and the TTL/Accsys Group head office in London.

Role Summary:

Delivering high plant availability, maintaining asset integrity and support for future development of the site.

Driving reliability improvements and asset care optimisation strategies through engineering team within a continuous process environment, having successfully applied continuous improvement tools and problem solving techniques.

Cross functional maintenance environment, with a good working knowledge of electrical and control and instrumentations systems and operations.

Yes, currently Maintenance Technician.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Senior site leadership role and act as designate for the Plant Manager when requested.
• Initial responsibilities will to provide engineering support for the project including plant testing and commissioning activities.
• Liaise with other Accsys technical and engineering functions.
• Specification, development and implementation and management of Work Management and Asset Management systems.
• Responsible for the site planning process for operational and outage maintenance activities. Ensure adequate resources are available to undertake reactive and preventative and outage maintenance and engineering function on site.
• Lead plant improvement programmes and projects. Communicate with other teams the impact on Maintenance and engineering activities.
• Production and execution of the maintenance and engineering budgets.
• Provide hands on trouble shooting and engineering support to the operations teams.

Qualification / Experience Requirements:

Essential
• 10 years or more professional experience.
• Must be qualified to a minimum of HND, degree or equivalent level in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering.
• Have a strong technical capability and understanding of plant maintenance and engineering processes in safety critical environments. Especially on materials handling plants.
• Must have experience in the application and auditing of Quality,
• Fluent written and Spoken English.

Desired Qualifications
• Have Skills in RCM, FMECA and predictability tools and techniques.
• Ideally completed a fully indentured apprenticeship within mechanical field.
• Have experience working in Plant Operation and complete plant operational training programme.
• Written scheme of examination
• Previous Permit to Work authorisation
