Purchasing Contracts Coordinator
12 - 18 MONTH FTC

We are currently recruiting for an experienced administrator to work with one of our reputable clients in Stockport. This rare opportunity has arisen with a key client that is a leading provider within their industry. You would be joining a friendly, busy team and would be responsible compiling data from suppliers and purchasing systems and create tender documents for contracts; analysis of bids after the close dates and analysis of spend following award.
Duties will include –
- Negotiate specified contracts under the direction of the Purchasing Manager.
- Extracting and evaluating tender usage data.
- Produce and run csv documents to update the purchasing system
- Analyse and examine terms and conditions of contracts
- Provide nominal weekly cover and full cover in the event of absence, to update all database requests within 4 hours of request from depot storekeepers.

Candidates Must –
- Have sound contracts, purchasing and/or invoice experience.
- Have solid planning and organisation abilities.
- Have strong communication skills with the aptitude to develop as a negotiator.
- Have excellent knowledge of Excel/Access.

Hours- Monday-Friday – 9.00AM – 5.00PM - 37 hours per week.
Salary- Between £25,000 per annum.
