Premium Resourcing are actively recruiting experienced Software Developers for UI (web) on behalf our client; an award-winning delivery-focused IT consultancy with over 25 years’ software delivery and IT advisory experience. They are renowned for technical excellence and cost-effective delivery.

With a team in excess of 800 employees based in one of seven offices including Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol, Glasgow and New York, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to substantially increase their portfolio value.

Their clients include some of the world’s largest companies including government departments, investment banks, retailers, commodity traders and retail banks.

There are three positions available; two of which will be required to work in Exeter for 6 months

Location: Bristol


  • This is a full-time permanent position
  • Basic salary circa £55k (negotiable dependent on experience)

The Role:

At the core, you will be an engineer who enjoys the challenge of innovation and creativity. This role will primarily be focused on building greenfield solutions for their varied client base. You will engage directly with the client and typically work as part of a wider delivery team. Strong JavaScript knowledge and experience of the JS frameworks and libraries is key for this role. Testing will be high on your agenda and no code shall pass, unless it has been fully tested.



  • Minimum of 3 commercial years
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript and other related front end technologies such as HTML(5) CSS(3)
  • Strong experience with React or Angular (and maybe Node too)
  • Exposure to Test Driven Development or Behaviour Driven Development methodologies
  • Responsive Web Design (desktop and mobile)
  • Strong Object Oriented skills
  • Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of computing (e.g. logic, data structures, algorithms, low-level architecture, systems infrastructure, network stack)
  • Exposure to continuous integration, build tools and scripting
  • Use of source code version control using tools such as Git, Subversion or Mercurial
  • Experience in developing in a cross-browser environment
Nice to have:

  • Computer Science or similar degree
  • Client-facing experience
  • Experience of other languages such as Java, Python, PHP or C#
  • Web Server technology such as Apache and Nginx
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Other JavaScript libraries such as Backbone, Knockout or Ember
  • User experience design and testing
