Legal 200 practice is seeking a Risk and Compliance officer in Bishops Stortford.

The Role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join a leading practice in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. Applications are welcome from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with strong background in Risk and Compliance work. Working alongside other experienced professionals, you will undertake duties to include: handling complaints and claims; providing extensive training on avoiding complaints; ensuring COLP and Lexcel compliance; knowledge of AML regulation; keeping up to date with the professional code of conducts; undertaking external audits and; adjusting firms policies within the firm. The successful Risk and Compliance Officer will communicate well both verbal and written and possess strong IT skills. The firm will consider full or part-time applications for the right Lawyer.

The Candidate
Ideally a Risk and Compliance Officer with strong experience in the Legal Risk and Compliance.
Solid understanding of SRA regulations and guidelines is essential.
Keep up to date with current legislation.
Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Work well on own initiative.
Personable, professional and a detail-oriented approach to your work.
