Established in 2007, Canopy Media is one of the UK's leading independent media sales house providing publishers with sales and management resource for their print and digital media inventory. Our business specialises in providing expertise and longevity of service in areas the media owner has limited resource or experience in.

We deliver value to clients in increasingly competitive markets by providing a sales platform that delivers on budget with no overhead cost to the publisher. We currently work with Hearst UK, Guardian News & Media, Time Inc UK. Hello Magazine, Haymarket Consumer Publishing and Telegraph Media Group.

We require a forward thinking, sales driven individual to manage and grow our existing agency and client relationships whilst developing and implementing a sales plan to find new business in the market place. The role has a specific concentration on maximising sales in our section break inventory, working with network agencies and clients mainly in the fragrance and beauty sector. The role will also include consulting on paper technology and innovation In print to agencies and clients alike. The right candidate will have an eye for detail, be process driven but also be able to think creatively. A passion for print and digital media is key.

The ideal candidate will be a highly efficient, proactive team player with the ability to multitask at all times whilst maintaining an outstanding attention to detail. Due to the nature of this role, as well as being a team player, we require someone who is proactive, self-motivated and able to work on their own. Being able to work in a pressurised but fun environment is a key requirement working as part of the sales team ensuring both personal and company targets are achieved.

After a structured induction programme that includes both on the job and specific training courses / conferences the right candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to work on their own, making decisions and liaising with numerous parties at any given time to ensure that orders are delivered and inserted correctly. Constant dialogue and updates must be provided to the team when necessary.
