Adecco Croydon is currently recruiting for a IT Technician position for a market leader in their industry based in Bromley.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organised IT technician to join their growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing support for all areas of IT. You will update systems, troubleshoot problems, and provide hands-on support for IT issues within our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support for all staff either by phone, remote access or site visits
• Maintaining the hardware across our 30+ sites.
• Record and document issues and resolutions.
• Assist with the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.
• Monitor networking equipment and servers.
• Set up equipment for new users.
• Cabling and hardware setup at new offices and expansions.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Testing and Evaluating new technology

Required Skills

• Proven experience as computer technician or similar
• Experience with Lan/Wan networks
• Working knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10
• Working knowledge of Server and Server 2016
• Experience of Active Directory and MS Exchange.
• A confident, professional style with collaborative team working skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and proactively.
• Experience of networking, preferably on Cisco equipment.
• Driving Licence required

This role is paying up to £28,000PA based on experience and an immediate start.

You will be working a 5 day week: Monday to Thursday the hours are 8:30 – 6:00, Fridays 8:30 – 5:30 and Saturdays 9:30 – 5:30. Saturdays are done on a rota system. You will be required to work 1 Saturday a month with a day off in the week.
