This role is field based and ideally you’ll be located in the North Midlands or North of England. Overnight stays and weekly travel to various sites across the UK will be a pre-requisite of the position. What you'll do
This role carries the responsibility for delivering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with the work plan and as directed by the Service & Maintenance Manager. As one of our Service Engineers, you will carry out daily operational and maintenance duties, diagnose and resolve problems and fulfill part of the breakdown response team with emergency call out as part of the standby schedule so you will need to be practical and adapt quickly to often swiftly changing situations. You’ll be comfortable following Safe Systems of Work and RAMS and working with the Service & Maintenance Manager create new SSOW as required alongside reviewing those already in place. You’ll conduct varied mechanical duties as well as PPM’s on Biogas sites and ancillary plants which will include motors, pumps and centrifuges plus PLC fault finding and trouble shooting. About You
The successful individual must be able to demonstrate a successful career to date, preferably with experience and knowledge of the Anaerobic Digestion / Renewables sector. Essential skills include waste water experience, 17th Edition and electrical controls. You will also need good IT skills and a full driving license.
