OMC is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Consultant to lead anumber of strategic client engagements and help shape our ongoingConsulting Strategy. Your job would be to help our clients leverage thepower of the Maxymiser optimisation tool to drive new customeracquisition, retention, and conversion opportunities. A key aspect ofthis role is thought leadership in the CRO market, inspiring innovationand creative problem solving both with clients, and the rest of theConsulting team. This highly visible and highly accountable rolerequires a unique combination of skills, experience, and marketingacumen. Job DescriptionAs a Senior Principal Consultant you will be responsible forunderstanding the digital goals of some of Europe's biggest brands, fromthe high level down to the minutiae. Effectively and creativelytranslating these business goals into requirements that will be met byyour Roadmap of strategic consultancy and conversion optimisationcampaigns. You will deliver results and insight to demonstrateoverarching value from customer investment. Working with our team of Associate Consultants, you will ensurecustomers achieve their agreed Optimisation goals; including increasingoverall online revenue, average order value and conversion rates,increasing loyalty programme registrations and providing guidance ontheir personalisation strategy. You will leverage a range of analysis,testing and optimisation techniques to help achieve your customer'sdigital goals. In addition, you will drive demand for Oracle Consultancy, identifyingopportunities where additional support and guidance from the OracleConsulting team will be beneficial to client success. Meanwhile,maintaining strong relationships with client senior stakeholders andfull awareness of their shifting priorities.Key Responsibilities Trusted Advisor. Stakeholder management can be challenging, withshifting priorities and fluctuating levels of engagement. You'll useyour experience to deftly lead client engagements and become a trustedadvisor to the client at all levels. At all levels you will present avoice of authority and inspiration. By keeping abreast of currentdigital trends, new technologies, competitive strategies and generalmarket commentary, you will at any time be able to use your knowledge topresent an exciting and innovative strategy for improvement to yourclients. Know the Customer. Use your knowledge of good UX principles andawareness of the evolving digital environment to create and optimisemarket leading customer experiences for your clients. Sharing yourmethodology and results across the Consulting team. CRO and UX trends evangelism. Use your digital passion to help spreadthe word to clients and prospects, and be a key piece of our businessdevelopment process to drive expansion of existing customers and newbusiness opportunities. Entrepeneurial Energy. You should possess that extra spark that bringstrue passion and enables you to stay ahead of client demand, continuallydriving innovation and creative solutions to the new problems that arisein line with the ever evolving digital marketplace. Demand creation. You will create demand for advanced consultancy inyour client base and be happy demonstrating your methods to the rest ofthe Consulting team. You will ensure all activity on your accountsaligns to the client's budgets, facilitating and negotiating budgetincrease when necessary. You will have an ultimate objective to increasethe services contract value for your client base. Presentations. You will use your confidence and strong attention todetail to create and deliver creative and unique presentations to groupsof all sizes, at clients, and at Oracle marketing events where required. You will be one of the most senior Consultants in the MaxymiserConsulting team, reporting to the Consulting Services Manager, you willbe responsible for your clients, and other special projects required forthe team, plus any support needed by other Principal or AssociateConsultants. Required Experience A degree (BA/BSc) or equivalent Previous experience to include: online testing (AB, MVT), websiteoptimisation, UX strategy, web analytics, data analysis, customerusability, CRM, personalisation or data driven online marketing 6+ years in a senior digital position Proven experience in stakeholder management, in a problem solvingand/or strategic role, ideally from within digital, client and / orvendor side Experience of successfully negotiating stakeholders to makecommitments is vital. Experience in commercial negotiations isdesirable. Experience translating data analysis (working with Analysts) intoactionable marketing recommendations and presentations - proficiency inPowerPoint is required A natural, confident, consultative style, with excellent attention todetail in all deliverables, including excellent communication skills Languages: English is a pre-requisite. French, German, Spanish orItalian is also desirable Experience with enterprise or global organisations within either theTravel, Financial Services or Retail industry is highly desirable butnot essential Experience with OMC platforms such as Maxymiser, Eloqua, Responsys orBluekai DMP, Service Cloud, or Social desirable but not essential Ability to work efficiently and consultatively with other OracleServices and Oracle CSM/Sales organisation's to deliver first class workto clientsAdditional skills and experience Must be a team player, experience in mentoring is desirable Ability to leverage business experience / acumen to identify newbusiness and marketing opportunities for prospects or existing clients Ability to review problem situations and to make strategic andtactical best practice recommendations Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with projectmanagement and interpersonal communication abilities (ability to produceprofessional reports and present to senior-level executives withinclient organisation's) Strong listening and superior relationship building skills Self-motivator - ability to get on with tasks at hand and innovatewhere needed High intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, self-confidence andpersuasion skillsDetailed Description and Job Requirements:As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice,this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high qualityand innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solutiondesign and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring highquality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets thecustomer's objectives by combining industry best practices, productknowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumenin selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technicalsolutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications andtechnology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to projectteams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunitiesand extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providingdomain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending andimplementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple businessprocesses across two or more product families or ability to architectand design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and makedecisions based on impact across the stack.8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years ofconsulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experiencepreferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability tocommunicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members andclients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
