To provide an effective technical and maintenance service to all departments of a Secondary School.
Requirements
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Possession of 4 Standard Grades (at level 3 or above) (or equivalent) in Science subjects, plus English and Mathematics
Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Science, Information Technology (IT), Electrical or equivalent
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of teaching kits, first line maintenance of electrical equipment and preparation of materials for all practical work.
The Individual
You will have Systematic reasoning & decision making abilities and able to use own initiative and prioritise own workload. Good communication skills
