Purpose of Job

Reporting into the Head of Performance Media, this position requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible for managing the company’s Paid Social strategy & significant monthly spend targets

Essential Skills

• Extensive Paid Social experience
• Hands-on experience of optimising to several different bidding strategies (CPM/CPC)
• Demonstrable track record of building profitable Social campaigns
• Hands-on experience working with Digital infrastructure used to optimise Paid Social (ad server/ attribution modelling)
• Experience in campaign automation using first and third party tools (creation and management)
• Experience in advanced segment building strategies using first and third party data
• Experience in algorithmic campaign optimisation using first and third party data – bidding based on event goals
• Experience in innovative campaign execution and performance-driven audience creation and nurturing
• Experience working to set CPA, revenue and ROI targets
• Highly numerate and interested in working with data to drive decisions
• Able to come up with new and creative approaches to achieve results
• Demonstrates consistent logic, rationality, and objectivity in decision making
• Highly competent with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to relate and compare data from different sources
• Ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
• Ability to work well under pressure

It would be a bonus if you also had:
• DMP experience
• Project management skills
• Experience of working with Salesforce/ Exact Target

You will be responsible for:
• P&L responsibility for Paid Social taking direct accountability for performance against the CPA, revenue and ROI targets
• Deliver weekly/monthly reports with context around performance
• Regular competitor research
• Testing ad sets & creative with regular updates on performance
• Testing & reporting on the bidding strategies & taking action based on outcomes
• Keep up to date with the latest trends & exploring their benefits in our activity
• Cross department collaboration with the retention & content marketing teams
• Analyse past trends with the aim of outlining quick wins
• Provide regular data analysis to assist with optimisation
• Working with our analysts & ad ops internally in order to illustrate the results beyond post click
• Management of audience creation/segmentation & optimising performance & creative across different audiences
