Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a great SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in EYFS at one of our client schools in Oldham?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an hardworking, enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to join this 'Good' school in Oldham. This will be a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year for the right candidate, starting immediately after the Easter break. The daily rate rate for this role is £55- 60 depending on the candidate’s experience.

The role:
This is a “Good” school looking for a teaching assistant with experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs. The right candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and will have experience supporting learners with challenging behaviour.
A committed professional who will blend seamlessly into the school and uphold their learning ethos and values.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support on the delivery of the EYFS Framework through a variety of approaches that ensure individual learning for every child.

The role will involve a number of responsibilities including the delivery of one to one sessions, observations, close support and monitoring of the designated child, as well as a more specialist approach for a student with challenging behaviour.

To be eligible to apply for this role you will need:
An excellent understanding of the EYFS and enthusiastic attitude when working with young children
A positive and passionate approach to children’s education
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Previous experience supporting learners with additional needs, EBD in particular
Working with any health and social care professionals, where necessary, and undertaking any relevant admin/paperwork
