STUDENT RECRUITMENT OFFICER

Adecco Harrow has a fantastic opportunity to join a well established company based in North West London. Our client is looking for a Student Recruitment Officer to join their team on a Permanent basis. Paying £24,000-£30,000 dependent on experience and with brilliant development opportunities. This role requires travelling to various locations across the South of England, therefore a full UK driving licence are car are essential.

JOB INFORMATION

Salary: £24,000-£30,000 per annum

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00

Days: Monday – Friday

Location: North West London

Benefits: Car allowance + bonus of up to 50% of base salary
subject to achieving targets. 28 days paid holiday, including the usual public holidays in England & Wales

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• An undergraduate degree or equivalent, ideally in business, marketing/sales
• A full driver’s licence
• Proven track record of meeting targets and delivering results
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently and manage own time effectively
• Well-developed IT skills, covering Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Organisational management skills
• Office management skills
• Good time-keeping skills
• Effective team-working skills
• Confident and highly motivated
• Flexible to work outside of normal office hours when required

DESIRABLE:

• Professional qualification in marketing
• Experience of developing relationships with Schools and Further Education College
• Knowledge of UK Higher Education Market
• An understanding and knowledge of B2C marketing and promotion

KEY TASKS:

• Develop strong and productive relationships with key contacts in all sixth forms and FE colleges in the designated area

• Increase the number of ‘feeder institutions’ to the college through pro-active networking

• Deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences on the benefits of the college

• Assist with the organisation and delivery of a variety of academic and student open events including education forums and conferences

• Pro-actively work with colleagues to provide a range of recruitment activities for partner companies

• Produce statistical reports and competitor analysis

• Assist with the preparation and production of an annual calendar of events, recruitment reports and statistics

• Attend undergraduate Higher Education and Careers conferences and other similar events across the UK where required

• To undertake any other duties commensurate with the work of the Marketing & Recruitment Team and the nature of the role as requested by the Recruitment Manager

• To undertake appropriate staff development and professional training in line with the business strategic objectives of the company

• To work within the policies of Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities

• To work flexibly and responsibly and undertake any other duties relevant to the level of the post
