Must have skills & capabilities: 5+ years relevant work experience Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Self-starter who thrives working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for simplifying complicated analysis for key decision makers Detail oriented with the ability to maintain big picture perspective Advanced MS Excel skills MBA or BS/BA degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Located in London, England Description: As a Senior Business Strategy Analyst on the Finance and BusinessStrategy team in Oracle Data Cloud (ODC), one of the fastest growing andmost strategically important businesses for Oracle, you will partnerclosely with ODC's International Go-to-Market leadership team to guideand support the growth of the business from a finance and businessanalytics perspective. Reporting to the Director of ODC FinancialPlanning and Partnerships, this role will be a critical resource for theInternational GTM team for all topics that require financial expertise,including but not limited to sales forecasting & analysis, businessanalytics, KPI management, revenue recognition, sales representativeincentive tracking, scope & availability of financial data, andfinancial systems and processes. This role will also be a key resourcefor other ODC sales teams for International-related financial analytics.Success will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, bigpicture perspective, self-motivation, solid communication skills,critical thinking, enthusiasm, and determination. Key Responsibilities will include the following, but will evolve basedon business needs: Establish and maintain strong working relationship with International team for all financial topics and incentive compensation inquiries As a strategic and analytic business partner to the International leadership team, this role will engage in recurring meetings and business reviews to support and understand key GTM initiatives and challenges Create and deliver monthly International management reports and dashboards with a focus on providing actionable insights Analyze, identify, and communicate trends and issues impacting the business on an ongoing basis and make recommendations Project manage and troubleshoot to resolution any financial data discrepancy issues identified within our business systems Create and maintain financial models using complex data sets and formulas to deliver insightful reporting, develop multiple scenarios, provide recommendations and improve financial projections Provide revenue recognition guidance and data provider analysis to the International team as needed Perform other ad hoc projects as needed Detailed Description and Job Requirements:Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, andcompliance in support of the organization's financial and tacticalbusiness objectives. Provides business practices and processes.Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on businesspractices and processes.Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR,Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and RiskManagement in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transactionprocessing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measurekey performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provideupdates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them ofdeviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impactand compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals.Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitorprocess and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of newprocesses and procedures.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Mayhave project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability tocollect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format.Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal andthird parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this,relationship management skills strongly desired.
