Our business is rapidly growing and we are therefore looking for a “IT Team Co-ordinator”. The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional operational and administrative support to the growing IT services department. This team manage requests from other teams within our business. Your role would mean that you would become our customers trusted point of contact.

The team of 6 that you manage will co-ordinate up to 40 customer projects at one time; dealing with customers in Investment Banking, Legal, Education and Property Management.

Key tasks will include:

* Assisting the Head of the department with the day to day running of the IT services division
* Coordinating all incoming jobs / project requests and encourage excellence in service delivery from your team
* Training and mentoring the team to manage their time, take responsibility and ownership of each task
* Liaising with consultants, engineers, suppliers to gather business information from which you would raise quotations, assist with ordering of materials
* Be the key contact for internal and external contacts to manage queries

As an individual I need you to be motivated to deliver excellence at all time, care about our customers with a passion but be comfortable to challenge on their execution of duties; whilst earning respect from an established team. During the interview process we would like you demonstrate your success at training and developing a team. Ideally you will come from an service lead SME business.
