Do you have an IT support background? Are you interested in joining a busy IT Helpdesk where you will get some fantastic training and development? If so, read on…

Working for a growing organization, you will provide support over the phone, email and remotely to a user group of 300+ receiving around 30 calls per day. Problem resolution will involve the use of diagnostic tools and tracking of helpdesk tickets via the IT helpdesk system.

Responsibilities:-

* Receive incoming help requests from end users via the helpdesk, telephone and e-mail – providing excellent customer service
* Document end user ID:- name, department, contact information, and nature of incident
* Prioritize and schedule problems and when required escalate issues to the appropriate engineers
* Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process
* Update knowledge bases, and FAQs
* Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, imaging, hardware installation, backups and configuring systems and applications
* Installing anti-virus software
* Test fixes ensuring issues have been adequately resolved
* Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests
* Image laptops and desktops using department specific images

Required experience:-

* Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including laptop, desktop and mobiles
* Experience supporting users on Windows Desktop and Server environments
* Experience supporting telephony systems
* Driving licence strongly preferred
