We are looking for people with a real passion for Financial Advice to step into a role that offers wide reaching career progression with full training and support for you to gain industry qualifications. You may already be working in the industry and join as a Financial Adviser Assistant or have limited experience and would join as a Trainee.
As a member of the Financial Adviser Support Team the Financial Adviser Assistant is responsible for working side by side with the advisers to co-ordinate the completion of suitability letters for our customers outlining our solution to their financial needs. This will involve understanding and communication with all other departments within Financial Advice from Investment Research all the way through to our Quality Assurance Team.
Whether you goal is to establish yourself within the Financial Adviser support team or gather the skills to become a Financial Adviser, Financial Adviser support can provide an excellent grounding with a route to gaining an Industry leading Financial Planning Diploma Qualification.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build their knowledge base in Financial Advice. The FA support consultants deal with the complex areas of financial advice, the goal is to work closely with the adviser to create a recommendation to be presented to our customers which meets their financial planning needs.
The skills that will be acquired involve being able to analyse and interpret the investment research provided on customers’ investments, interpret tax calculations and ultimately assisting our customers in achieving their financial goals.
At any one time you’ll be coordinating multiple cases for advisers which will involve areas of complexity and nuances which require quick prioritisation excellent analytical skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
It goes without saying you’ll need to be highly organised and flexible, a creative and inventive thinker with the ability to find an alternative when something doesn’t work. Experience of report writing is desirable with a key task being creating our suitability reports for our customers. You’ll be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to build your knowledge in Financial Advice and work towards a professional qualification.
You don’t need to have experience within financial services at the entry level of our progression scheme although experience is desirable, however, the ideal candidate will either have obtained/ be working towards or be willing to work towards their Diploma in Financial Planning.
