A dynamic and forward-thinking company that has more than 20 years’ experience of trading in the UK investment markets is seeking a Marketing Manager based in Gloucester Business Park to join its expanding team. In addition to a competitive basic salary, the Manager will receive a KPI bonus, 25 days holiday and the chance to join the company pension scheme.

The company’s products and investment solutions have continually evolved to suit the challenges facing their investors as regulations and markets have changed. As the economic climate has shifted, it has adapted and strengthened to ensure that its investment solutions remain tax-efficient, transparent and compelling. Throughout this evolution, it has grown in partnership with its clients and its professional advisors and now has more than £500 million of assets under administration and management.

The overall purpose of the role will be to develop a strategic marketing strategy that continues to strengthen the firm’s reputation and drives sustainable growth. You will be responsible for creating market-specific integrated communication strategies that produce commercial results by bringing in new clients to increase revenue and operating profit. You will support the Sales Director and CEO by adopting a collaborative leadership style to achieve the firm’s overall business plan.

As the Marketing Manager, your duties will be to:

- Be responsible for the creation and implementation of a national business development strategy that delivers commercial results for the firm.
- Work with Partners to establish budget requirements for each financial year and to manage the expenditure sign off process.
- Motivate, develop and support the team by identifying personal development goals and training that will evolve their experience, skills and knowledge to enable them to execute effective campaigns.
- Evaluate external influences on the business to identify any potential opportunities or threats for the firm. Once evaluated, make recommendations on how to the firm should respond.
- Implement the most appropriate communications mix to achieve business objectives.
- Deliver a digital strategy which continues to elevate the firm’s online presence resulting in increased brand awareness and increased numbers of new client enquiries giving strong consideration to social media.
- · Develop pro-active media strategies to support market-specific campaigns.

An ideal Marketing Manager will hold the following skills and experience:

- Recent experience of working within a financial services intermediary (IFA) sales distribution organization.
- Previous experience in strategic marketing and communications.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
- Experience of managing and developing a team to develop and implement integrated plans.
- An individual who possesses a client service orientation with high levels of energy, enthusiasm and tenacity.

In return, the Manager will receive a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum.
