Tutor - Home & community
We are looking for a highly driven and flexible individual with experience of teaching children and young people with additional learning needs who is keen to engage with these pupils and influence their learning. You will actively take on a tutoring role to enable pupils to develop holistically. You will facilitate their personal, social and educational development to enable them to reach their full potential in society. We are looking for an individual who is happy to tutor within the community, schools and pupil's homes dependent upon their individual needs.
This role would be perfect for someone who holds a QTS with experience of working with pupils who have additional learning needs and someone who wants to make a difference to the lives of young people.
If you have the ability to 'think outside the box' by incorporating creative ways of learning to keep pupils engaged in education within various settings Empowering Learning would like to hear from you.
Key Job Requirements
*A genuine passion for working with pupils with additional learning needs.
*Highly driven and flexible.
*Attentive and Empathetic Listener.
*Available 5 days per week between the hours of 8.30am - 4pm.
*Holds a DBS on the update service. (We can support you with a new DBS application if needed.)
