The Requirements Join us as Project Manager in Edinburgh This role will offer you a great opportunity to work with Current Accounts, Consumer Finance, Savings, core platforms and Infrastructure, where you'll be working on exciting projects that are variable in duration You'll be part of a growing team of supportive professionals who are highly motivated and focused on getting the job done and providing our customers with the best banking experience possible We're looking to develop you, so we will provide any training necessary to support you in your role, keeping you interested and challengedWhat you'll doAs part of your role, you will: Prepare and take ownership for all project plans, controls and resource plans, progress reporting on these and resource requirements and ensure the plan is in line with any wider programme plans Identify, track, manage and mitigate any project Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies, and track costs Lead and define a Project Initiation Document (PID) ensuring that the solution clearly supports and is aligned to the companys strategic goals Analyse problems and opportunity statements and prepare estimates for approval Build and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions and at different levels of hierarchy Manage a project via the relevant RBS framework such as RBS P3M (Portfolio, Programme, Project and Resource Management) Empower and lead a team (often in multiple geographies) through the project lifecycle, set team member objectives, and supporting capability development and ensure succession plans are in placeThe skills you'll needTo succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong project management experience and the abillity to think logically Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, able to engage up to a senior level To be a team player seeking to contribute to the overall teams success, able to think outside the box and effectively problem solveHow we'll reward youIn return, we offer a competitive salary plus 30% cash and benefit funding programme that can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
