My client, a major media corporation (household name) seek an experienced and dynamic Web Analyst / Digital Analytics Implementation Developer, who can own the Google Analytics for their many websites.

Key point: they are looking for someone that knows Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager - you will be the champion for all things Google Analytics. They need someone that will proactively making recommendations to the business regarding Google Analytics.

The Web Analyst / Digital Analytics Implementation Developer, is a new role to lead the definition of how the company implements web analytics across the companies digital estate, to gather accurate and actionable data. The role will also own the ongoing optimisation of the web analytics infrastructure, so as to continually enhance the user experience across their websites. These include but are not limited to their loyalty program offering, a travel proposition, a retail marketplace and a finance proposition.

Core responsibilities for the Web Analyst / Digital Analytics Implementation Developer - Google Analytics position are:

• Develop and implement the technical requirements for analytics tagging and tracking infrastructure.

• Manage Google Analytics implementation and be the product champion.

• Understand product owners’ needs to translate business requirements into analytics technical requirements and ensure that priorities are met.

• Ensure data collection and standardisation is met and explain methodologies to internal stake holders.

• Effectively manage your time and responsibilities to ensure key deadlines are met and dependencies managed.

• Look for ways to drive improvement and ensure value and actions can be derived from the data.

• Provide support and insight to the business for all its digital sites and tagging requirements.

• Drive the upskilling and adoption of key team members across our digital products.

• Recommend fit for purpose analytics and drive adoption across product teams resulting in revenue driving insight.

• Ensure consistent communication of key metrics across all digital propositions.
