The Company

Our client has been a successful family run business since 2010. For over 7 years of experience, their mission is to be the very best motorcycle shop and repair facility in London. they have been striving to provide clients with the best quality service, maintenance, crucial technical repairs, or a simple oil change. We are looking for a Parts Store Person to join their growing team, to be responsible for the accurate booking in/out of all stock items. Maintaining accurate stock control of all bike parts consumables and its issue to the mobile & workshop fitters within the company.

The regular supply of parts for the servicing and repair of Bikes fleet is a critical factor to delivering great service times to our customers.

Main Duties:

Carry out inspection of all goods received - checking the quality, quantity and damaged items;

Entering of all goods received on to the computer system and correlating the items received to the purchase order to ensure our order requirements are fulfilled;

To use the company computer system to maintain accurate records, carry out stock transfers etc;

To keep the working area & store free of hazards as per the company`s health and safety policy,

To maintain quality control and traceability of all parts and to ensure the department operates to the quality manual;

To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork ensuring conformance to the customer`s requirements;

To issue stock parts to the workshop and Mobile Technicians as required updating the system accordingly;

To carry out period stock checks;

To keep control of all stock parts and to maintain Stock Levels`;

To liaise with the various carriers and suppliers;

To deal with dispatches by post and with letter mail.

To undertake any other duties, from time to time, as can be reasonably requested by the company.

Requirements:

IT literate, as all stores information will be input onto the in-house software system

Ability to work under pressure, to meet the changing demands of the business

Good level of physical fitness

Ability to interface with customers and understand their requirements

Attention to detail

Numerate

Flexible

Team Player
