I'm currently recruiting for a Data Warehouse Developer with either SQL or PostgresSQL, for my client based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. They're an exciting starting working on a state of the art project. After receiving a large amount of investment they're now looking to expand their BI team and bring in a new Data Warehouse Developer. They current work on PostgresSQL, so any experience with that would highly desirable. However, they would consider candidates who have a Microsoft SQL background, who would be prepared to cross-train onto PostgresSQL.

My client do offer training for any candidates that would be happy to learn PostgresSQL. In this case they would ideally be looking do a candidate who has worked in a similar role, or has transferable skills.

Key Responsibilities for the Data Warehouse Developer (SQL / PostgresSQL):

• Developing / maintaining the existing DWH on site
• Maintaining ETL processes
• Database development
• Writing stored procedures, triggers and functions

Key skills for the Data Warehouse Developer (SQL / PostgresSQL):

• PostgresSQL
• Data Warehouse development
• Experience redesigning and maintaining data warehouses
• Creating tables, joins and stored procedures
