Cyber Security Engineer
Assystem Technologies, an award winning multi-disciplinary engineering services provider, is looking to appoint a Cyber Security Engineer to work in their growing Derby office. As our customers across aerospace, automotive, rail and industry continue to tackle security challenges, Assystem Technologies aims to provide cutting edge embedded security support across the full development lifecycle. Key tasks / Responsibilities:
Candidates will support and work with customer-focussed team leaders to both propose and develop cyber-security related approaches and solutions for customers products and operations. The work involved will include:
*Data reviews to identify risks and application of systems knowledge to classify them
*Collaboration and communication with stakeholders to develop a range of mitigating control strategies
*Developing and embedding cybersecurity processes into the existing product / organisation development activities and their subsequent verification

Skills
*A keen interest in security
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to work within existing frameworks and follow established processes
*Degree qualified (science, technology, engineering or mathematics related)
*Embedded software development or security engineering

Experience (essential)
*From one to five years experience in an industrial product or services development organisation
*Understanding of Secure Development Lifecycles and their application in an agile environment
*Understanding of security architecture principles and processes

Experience (preferred)
*Application \ Web software development
*Product engineering
*Security related standards (ISA/IEC-62443, SAE J3061, ISO 27000)
*Experience in automotive functional safety following ISO 26262, ideally combined with knowledge of J3061
*Understanding of Software Quality and best practices
