Senior Information Officer-Troubled Families Programme
This post is available for 6 months from the start date.
The role supports the national Troubled Families Programme and candidiates should either have had experience of this programme or have a good understanding of it.
You will also need to be familiar with Service Delivery Models in Children's Services, and how cases are recorded and use of associated data.
You will work as part of a small team including 2 other data analysts to help track and monitor families' progress, finding successful outcomes under the terms of the programme.
You will need to be very familiar with Excel.
Enhanced DBS may be required, valid within 12 months.
To develop information solutions and ensure the production of accurate factual information about levels of service activity, and other performance measures so that reviews of performance and subsequent policy development in Social Care are grounded in fact
- With the Performance and Projects Manager ensure that planning, reviewing and monitoring and supervision is undertaken using defined Project Management principles
- Produce, collate and analyse appropriate data sets of quantitative and qualitative information relating to service delivery and human resources for the Director, Council Managers and Operational Managers to highlight problem/positive performance areas and inform policy development
- With Social Service Managers, identify where difficulties may be occurring with the systems to ensure that the accuracy and credibility for information is preserved
