Group HR Operations Workday Product Owner

What will you be doing?

As a Group HR Operations Workday Product Owner your primary focus will be Workday BAU and Continuous Business Improvement (CBI), which will include Release prep and management. This means you'll be passionate about positive change and transformation.

Understanding business needs and building solutions that meet new and future business objectives will be a large part of your role. You'll partner with other team members and internal stakeholders to help drive adoption and maximize the value of Workday. You'll also be involved in the analysis, design, testing, and support of Workday.

You'll hold expertise in one area of Workday, and have the opportunity to specialise in others, actively research new enhancements and releases in Workday, and assist in its administration, so you'll be action oriented and have the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and initiatives.

You'll play a key role in related projects that will really deliver value to the business, so you'll be a forward-thinker and have exceptional problem solving skills.

* Previous exposure to HR Service Centre environment
* Highly flexible team working approach within a matrix structure.

Previous Experience

* Significant experience implementing and supporting the Workday product and experience in the HRIS landscape
* Specific experience in the functional area of which you will be accountable e.g. Recruitment or Compensation
* Relevant degree or equivalent work experience.
* Extensive experience with HR technologies.
* Significant experience with Workday HCM.
* Experience with integrations, reports, calculated fields, and security.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, project management ability, and the ability to prioritize work.
* Big picture and forward thinker with the ability to develop recommendations for improving and streamlining processes.
* Action oriented; able to work independently and with a sense of urgency; possesses ability to juggle multiple deadlines and initiatives.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees across all organization and management levels.
* High level of proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Power Point, Word, Project, etc.
* Awareness of and sensitivity to confidential data.
