IT Support Analyst (1st/2nd Line)

My client, a highly successful organisation based in York are seeking an experienced 1st/2nd Line IT Support Analyst. You will join this small but busy team with main focus on full Service Desk support across their entire user base. You will need to have proven expertise in handling queries and faults both over the phone, over email and at times, face to face.

You will handle calls from initial fault/problem logging, through to 1st and 2nd Line, then escalation to the 3rd Line Support Team. It is imperative that you have an excellent phone manor with good customer care and interpersonal skills. You will need to be comfortable working to SLA's and to minimise any downtime. The role will also see you maintain and supporting a wide range of hardware (e.g. PCs, Laptops, Printers, switches, RF equipment and phones)


As well as working on the day today support and service desk you will also be required to support the various internal systems and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Training will be provided in these areas, however any skills or knowledge of working in such areas would be highly desirable.

Key skills;

*Help Desk experience or 1st/2nd Line Support
*Microsoft Office Products 2007/2010/2013
*Maintaining group policies, domain policies, active directory
*Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7
*Maintaining procedures
*Experience with either/certified with; ITIL, CCNA, MCSA, VCP, etc.

Desirable skills;

*Understanding of communications technologies (VoIP, PBX, mobiles, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth)
*Experience of Virtualisation environments (VMware/HyperV)
