Blue Cross are one the UK’s leading rehoming organisations for animals. We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.

The Role:

As a Content Manager, you’ll create and schedule content and messaging across our digital channels and publications.

Specifically, you will:

- Manage a busy team of three
- Oversee content for our website, social media, email and For Pets magazine
- Develop new ideas, stories and content to help increase traffic to our site
- Work with the Media Team to develop media campaigns on our digital channels
- Develop engagement with our social media channels
- Assist the Editors with the creation of our supporter magazine
- Manage the social media advertising budget and update case studies
- Report on the effectiveness of our content

About You:

To join us as a Content Manager, you will need:

- Experience of working on a major consumer-facing website and social media channels
- Previous experience of developing engaging and innovative content and/or social campaigns
- Experience of managing, developing and scheduling content plans
- Line management experience and a track record of motivating and inspiring direct reports
- An understanding of SEO and digital marketing
- The proven ability to evaluate campaigns and report on findings
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in English or a similar field
