Senior Statistical Programmer
We are looking for a Senior Statistical Programmer to join one of the global top 10 CRO. If you have strong SAS programming skills and can demonstrate experience of working in clinical research within the Pharmaceutical industry, then you could be the Senior Statistical Programmer that we have been looking for.
What will you be doing?
As the Senior Statistical Programmer, you will become a part of a team with an inherent breadth of knowledge and expertise in small, single centre Investigator studies to multi-site, multi-national trials in Phases I to IV of clinical development, as well as observational studies.
You will be an integral part from initial planning meetings at the study design stage through to implementation and execution, our team of skilled statistical programmers will employ industry-accepted statistical tools and techniques, as well as innovative consulting, to provide the quality and efficiency of projects.
Using SAS software (BASE, STAT, GRAPH, MACRO), you will produce, validate and review statistical analysis plans, mainly through tables, formatted datasets, listing and graph specifications. Further to this, you will perform QC and quality improvement to ensure that outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.
What skills/experience should you have?
- BA or BSc degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of SAS programming experience, including 4 years of working with clinical trials either in a CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology organisation, or related experience
- Advanced knowledge of SAS Programming and package
- Proven leading experience as lead on multiple projects as well as Programming teams
- methodologies/ ICH-GCP
- Proven track record of mentoring personnel and coordinating the work of project teams
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
