Network Support Engineer

The Role
We are recruiting for an established yet growing Telecommunications company who are looking for a Network Support Engineer to join their NOC. Technology wise, the company work predominantly with Juniper so any experience with this is beneficial however candidates with good Cisco and Layer 2 experience will be considered therefore please still apply.

Please note, the hours for this role are 9-5.30pm Monday - Friday then 2-10.30pm Monday - Friday, this rotation repeats

As a Network Support Engineer you will be involved in the following duties:

* Monitoring and troubleshooting network faults
* Acting as an escalation point for 1st line engineers
* Managing changes, faults or requests
* Using Salesforce to manage case queues
* Dealing with carriers and suppliers for any faults
* Supporting partners with network services
The Requirements

As a Network Support Engineer you will have the following experience:

* Ideally a background in Telecommunications, ISP, MSP or similar
* Layer 2 troubleshooting
* WAN technologies knowledge
* CCNA or JNCIA certified or studying towards
* Experience in OSPF, MPLS and BGP is desirable
* Ideally working towards JNCIS-SP or CCNP certification
