Purchase Ledger Accounts Administrator

My client based in the Chorley area is looking for an Accounts Administrator to work within a busy Purchase Ledger Department.

You'll be joining an established and busy team where you'll be managing sales and purchase invoices across a variety of services.

Daily responsibilities will include processing purchase invoices, resolving queries and reconciling statements.

The role will also involve contacting and liaising with suppliers and customers over the telephone and offering excellent customer service.

Ideal person will have experience in:

  • Experience of working on a busy team
  • Be able to process high volumes of transactions
  • Be able to prioritise own workload
  • Be self-motivated and a team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (telephone and written)

20 days holiday

37.5 hrs per week

15,300 starting salary with growth potential

May suit an AAT studier to gain the work based experience they need to support the qualification.
