Desktop Support role within this really exciting organisation, a world leader in their field. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to build a career and perhaps eventually break away from 2nd line support to move into the internal Systems Engineering or DevOps team.

It is a one-off opportunity, to work within a truly inspiring, rewarding and agile environment. A start-up atmosphere but a large, established and world-leading business.

You will need to offer something different. The 2nd line support skills come as second nature to you, but you will have a desire and raw enthusiasm to make a difference and add value in a digital and highly technical world. You need to have a raw enthusiasm for tech.

It goes without saying that you will be charismatic, have an infectious zest for life, first-class communication skills and an engaging manner. In return you will join like-minded team and together you will grow and develop your technical skills in a hi-tech market leader. The majority of this company's systems engineering team have been promoted internally from this team.

This role will suit someone from a start-up, digital or ISP type organization. It is unlikely that a large organization will breed the right breadth of skills, or indeed mindset, for this role.

Essential Technical Experience
* Proven history of 2nd/3rd line support
* Good understanding of Active Directory
* Good understanding of Exchange
* Good understanding of networking principals including TCP/IP
* Windows Server 2008, 2012
* Knowledgeable on Windows 7/ 10
* Good understanding of Office versions 2010 & feature versions
* Good understanding of Citrix XenApp Environment

Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of Anti Virus Solutions
* Knowledge of fundamental principles of the ITIL Environment
* Awareness of CCTV Satellite/TV Systems and Distribution
* Awareness of Call Recording Systems
* Awareness of Video Conferencing Solutions
