Our client is looking for an experienced 1st Line IT Support person to work with both internal and external customers via phone, internet, remote and on occasion in person visiting client sites.

Duties Include:
• Providing 1st line support to a large user base resolving technical issues in a timely and effective manner
• Working as part of a team and supporting the IT Manager with projects
• Building rapport with a large variety of internal and external customers
• Keeping all systems and reports up to date and related administration

Skills/Experience Required:
• Experience within a helpdesk role - preferably from an IT support company background
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems including XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 8, Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
• Exposure to Office 365
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Networks, routers, firewalls, printers, backups, anti-virus programs, spam and any spyware prevention experience would be advantageous
• Microsoft certification would be highly beneficial
• First class communication skills with a confident approach and a professional telephone manner
• Flexible, sociable team player
• Decision making ability with an analytical mind set
• Organised, self motivated and excellent time management skills
