Learning Support Assistant Ref 17/18

Permanent. 37 hours per week, term-time only.

Salary in the range £16,750 - £18,144 pa FTE, actual salary £14,070 - £15,241 pa.

We have a vacancy for an LSA to join our busy team as soon as possible. Our committed and dedicated professional staff provide support to students with special requirements in the College, both in class and in the Study Support department. Some experience working with students aged 16-19, particularly those with specific learning difficulties and disabilities, is desirable but not essential. Experience in supporting students on the autistic spectrum is particularly useful. Additionally, you must be physically fit to undertake manual handling and to provide personal care to students with disabilities if required. Most important is empathy with young people and a genuine desire to help them reach their potential.
