The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting our client for a Legal Secretary to join their Residential team in central Bristol. Your role will include a full range of administration and secretarial duties including digital dictation, diary management and filing. For this role our client is happy to consider someone either full or part time (between 20 and 35 hours, they are able to flexible on hours except Wednesdays which is essential you are able to work, as you will be supporting the Group Leader of this busy department from a PA capacity on a Wednesday (the other days is secretarial support to the team)

Main Responsibilities will include:

To carry out secretarial and administrative tasks.

Digital dictation (audio typing), including preparing and amending documents.

Creating/amending documents. Documents will include leases, licenses, contracts, transfers etc.

Dealing with clients by phone, taking messages, answering queries and general calls.

Filing, electronic filing and general admin duties such as faxing and photocopying.

Assisting the segment Team/Group with overflow typing.

Managing diary appointments and making arrangements for meetings


The Person:

For this role our client is looking for someone with previous Legal Secretarial experience along with accuracy, sound organisational skills and flexibility are also required

Legal secretarial experience is essential and real estate experience would be an advantage.

Strong IT systems skills are required with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience of Outlook for Emails and Diary Management.

Experience of Laserforms and Workshare would be an advantage.

Ideally we are looking for previous experience of document management systems although training will be given in Interwoven if it has not been used before.

Candidates should ideally be experienced with Copy & Audio typing (digital dictation)- 65wpm

The Hours:

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, 35 hours per week or From 20 hours per week (Wednesday is essential)

Central Bristol, no car parking.

The Salary:

Up to £23,000, possibly £24,000 (pro-rata IF part time)
