Weneed someone to help to build the frameworks that delivery teams willfollow when automating their test and release processes, drive forwardnew tooling, trouble shoot complex problems and help us on our journeyto DevOps and Continuous Integration. Sound interesting? Read on Central to this role is the successful delivery of a test automationservice to planned releases and projects across the Virgin Moneyportfolio. You will lead and support colleagues on a variety ofactivities, from building testing automation frameworks, managingtooling, resolving technical or automation problems and buildingcontinuous integration platforms. Were always looking to improve oursystems, so were looking for a self-starter who is constantly scanningthe IT landscape for technology & practices that can help makebanking even better. We also need someone with the ability to buildstrong business knowledge, and who understands our key challenges anddrivers in the Financial Services sector. The successful candidate will be highly organised, with the ability tomanage all automated test processes. We need someone with exceptionalstakeholder management skills, in order to maintain our strong clientrelationships. Our trusted and valued service providers have an onshoreand offshore presence, so experience of this, and cultural awareness, isa must. Communication is also key, as you will provide direction andguidance on all technical aspects of Test Automation. Its a varied andexciting role so youll enjoy multi-tasking as part of an awesome teamto deliver quality products [safely], provide support and guidance tocolleagues and contribute to the strategic roadmap within yourspecialist area of Test and Quality Management. To be brilliant, youll have a passion for the implementation andimprovement of test automation services. We need someone with soundknowledge of automation tools, such as Selenium and Tosca and associatedcoding skills. If you have knowledge of Agile and DevOps workingenvironments, as well as building Continuous Integration Pipelines, thenwe would love to hear from you. Required skills/experience: Implementation and continuous improvement of automation frameworks Knowledge of scripting languages and Oracle, Java and Integrationtechnologies Knowledge of automation tooling (particularly Selenium and Tosca) Desirable skills/experience: ITIL or ISTQB Certification Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server IT could be you!
