Legal Assistant - Permanent - Immediate Start

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within a legal department of a thriving finance organisation based in Warsash.
The role will include providing fundamental administrative assistance to the legal & compliance department as well as PA duties for the Legal Director. The successful applicant will be provided with a busy and varied workload and in-house training.
The role will allow you to work alongside other departments so you will learn all about the finance industry in addition to various and valuable administrative skills.
Working week: 37.5 hours p/w, Monday to Friday 08.30am - 17.00pm
23 days holiday entitlement + bank holiday
Duties are as follows (Not limited to):
· Searching and updating database when appropriate
· Circulation of regulatory policies and procedures
· Compiling information for and organising internal regulatory training and tests
· Compliance monitoring of brokers, new business and existing customers
· Assembling mortgage files involving land registry and company house searches
· Arranging external training e.g computer or driving courses
· Maintenance of compliance logs including complaints and gifts, hospitality and entertainments
· Ensuring up to date wellbeing information is readily available for all employees
· Supporting Legal Director throughout recovery processes as and when required
· Maintaining legal documents database
· PA duties for Legal Director including diary management
· Minute taking at meetings
· General administration duties
· Assisting other departments with administrative duties as and when required.
Requirements are as follows:
· 3 or more A levels (or equivalent) - preferably Business and/or Law
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Proactive and organised
