Service Manager An SC Cleared Operational Service Manager, you will be adept at working in a complex project environment working alongside client resources and other suppliers. You will be an expert in ensuring the maintenance of live service through effective liaison between stakeholders and the managed service provider. With the ability to manage change within the service, and address risks and issues as they arise. An innovative thinker, you will be involved in the wider community, identifying good practice and sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team. Main responsibilities include · Provide assurance that contracted deliverables of the service's Managed Service Provider are being met. Provide support to ensure that live services are being maintained · Responsible for coordinating change activity and ensuring that live service risks and issues are escalated as required. · Liaison with the accreditor of the service · Provide a focal point for the management of risk within the wider team Essential skills and experience · Current SC clearance required · Detailed knowledge of live service support of deployed Communications and Information Systems in operation · Exceptional change management skills, including knowledge of processes for change in deployed Communications and Information Systems · Experienced in developing and supporting the enablement of in-house teams · Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to represent a client at a variety of governance meetings · Previous experience within UK Government · Detailed understanding of relevant security policies eg JSP440 · Risk, issue and dependency management skills; including the use of Active Risk Manager Qualifications · ITIL Foundation · MSP Practitioner · MOR Practitioner · PRINCE2 Practitioner
