Chase and Holland are working exclusively on a newly created Management Accountant position in Worksop. You'll be responsible for monthly accounts and associated analysis, aiding company strategy at multiple levels.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Producing monthly management accounts across all business operations
  • Documenting and reporting monthly costs and KPIs
  • Developing reporting systems and capturing accurate and relevant data
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Preparing monthly budgets and forecasts
  • Assisting with periodic balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaising with senior management and key stakeholders with regards to cost and analysis
  • Advising on the financial impact of company decisions
  • Working on ad hoc projects as required by senior management
  • Providing commercial finance support and guidance to key stakeholders across the business
  • Positively influencing and strengthening working relationships across the company

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience of monthly management accounts within a manufacturing business
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or part qualified and currently studying
  • A natural way with numbers and an analytical mindset
  • A proactive and driven approach to work

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant looking for an autonomous, challenging position. My client is open to negotiation with regards to salary, and is willing to offer study support if necessary.
