Our Client

We are working with a large manufacturing organisation. Based in Coventry, they are an innovative and expanding company and we are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.

The Role

The Sales Ledger Clerk position is a great opportunity. It is a role that will suit someone who likes to be active and busy, and with a solid skill base and positive attitude as you will have sole responsibility of Sales Ledger.

Specifically, the role will involve the following tasks:

  • Processing payments and allocating receipts
  • Creation and Processing of invoices
  • Allocating Cash
  • Entering payments and expenses
  • Creating and processing credit notes
  • Processing month-end journals
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Collating information and creating reports
  • Submitting Month end performance reports
  • Resolution of queries

The Person

The successful candidate is likely to have solid foundations in all areas of accounts, in particular within the Sales Ledger area, with a likelihood that you are seeking an opportunity to expand your experience into a larger and more complex organisation. The candidate we seek will have a strong knowledge of Excel, and ideally be AAT qualified or part-qualified.
