Your new company
This leading manufacturing organisation are seeking an experienced C# developer to join the team based from their head office in Dorset. The company have new investors and growing the technical team is a priority.
There will be an expectation around technical competency, but the company truly value aptitude to learn and will invest in candidates that want to move into the newer web technology space.
Your new role
This is predominantly a hands on position working with leading edge technologies. You'll be helping to instigate a complete rebuild of their core system, a modular SAAS product which diverse and incorporates everything from UX/UI driven engineering, integration with a range of industry services and back end data processing/reporting.
This build process will continue, they are constantly looking to stay ahead of competition and want to future proof the business. With this in mind they're looking at additional proprietary content to extend this already comprehensive system and transform it into a multi-tenant solution.
The freedom available to the development team makes this an exciting role, all options are being considered and you'll be able to introduce new tools and technologies to help drive the business forward.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong fundamental development skills in C#, Asp,Net (MVC / Web API) and SQL Server. You will subscribe to Agile development practices, want to actively share knowledge and should be capable of tackling front and back end projects in equal measure.
Project work is likely to be client side/front end focussed in the initial periods due to the pipeline of work, so ability to hit the ground running with Angular.js or a modern framework would be ideal.
You'll be working in a cloud environment utilising Amazon AWS, will follow modern Agile practices including Test Driven Development and will be strong proponent of patterns for software design used appropriately.
What you'll get in return
You'll join a well-established business that has retained a family feel to the company. Staff are treated well and given flexibility, not just in terms of working hours. On top of this you'll be working on a unique product, have free parking, generous holiday, company pension and your birthday off from work.
What you need to do now
If you're interested in this position please apply directly, or contact Max Wilcock on 01202 048614.
