My client is an established market leader who design, manufacture and install their bespoke products in a specialist market. They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, with a background in a manufacturing / factory environment, to join the team at their site in Bradford and work with a company who enjoy continued growth year on year.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment including metal fabrication and welding machinery, hand tools and electrical equipment, control systems and circuitry


Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance Fault finding and problem solving during productionAssessing the spare parts requirementsRespond promptly and positively to service call requestsPrioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response timesLiaise with Supervisors / external Engineers and conduct recommended services Carry out Electrical Installation and minor works, both in the factory and the offices.Install new plant, equipment, and systemsProvide support to other departments as and when requiredComplete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the CompanyContribute to the continuing improvement of the factory equipment and maintenanceProvided training and undertake training as and when requested to do soStrictly adhering to the company's health and safety rules Working in accordance with industry procedures and legislation.·To maintain a high level of quality in accordance with company policies.

·To maintain a safe working environment in accordance with company policies.

·To maintain a high level of housekeeping.


·Time served maintenance engineer or equivalent qualification

·Electrical qualified to City & Guilds (Part 236 1,2) OR level 3 NVQ electrical qualifications or have an equivalent qualification

·17th Edition certified

·Mechanical knowledge and familiar with the existing plant and equipment

·Previous experience of working towards improving and maintaining quality standards

·Capable of reading and understanding of electrical schematic and engineering drawings

·Ability to fault find on PLC`s would be advantageous.

·Highly self-motivated and can work on own initiative and as part of a team

·A flexible approach to working activities, as there may be times when weekend working, or site wiring/installation may be required.

·Develop, encourage, motivate, and mentor team members and apprentices

·Good IT & Communication skills

·Full driving license
