Asset Management/Funds/Corporate/FS Lawyer – In-House – Global Financial Institution – 6-9PQE
The asset management arm of this leading financial powerhouse has a legal team that are broad in scope. They support the day to day and strategic operations of the business – a varied and high level role reaching from intermediaries to the office of the CEO.
The team requires a mid-senior lawyer to take a lead role in working with a range of internal and external clients across the world to assist in the day to day and long term support of the Investment Management business. Clients include portfolio managers and traders, intermediaries, back office teams, the wider legal and compliance team and the CEO’s office in Europe.
You would take on responsibility as part of an 8 person team, for the provision of advice relating to fund formation, client onboarding, distribution, regulatory reform (from MIFID to GDPR, Brexit and Money Market reform), and IM agreements.
The role is a high level one, with senior interaction across the business – and it is a role where you would have significant responsibility and involvement in product development, negotiating and drafting management agreements and associated trading documentation, and input into strategy of the global asset management business.
A great role for a senior funds, corporate, banking or financial services lawyer who is qualified in England & Wales and either already inhouse and looking for a change, or seeking that key move in-house.
